How I can connect my fax line to my computer, so you can delete the fax line.?
Currently I have two phone lines. Before my DSL, my computer and fax to share a line, and the second line was from my phone. Now that DSL is the same line as my phone, Is there any way to change the fax machine occasionally and use the same line, so I can eliminate the cost of the second phone line?
Depends your fax machine. I have a brother who shares my DSL line 2820 and whenever I get a fax you a punch in a 3 digit code on my phone and fax from the socket. You can also manually walk to the fax and press "receive" (or boot, or your model has button whatever) to manually start the process of receiving. Do not forget to put a DSL filter on the fax.
